6:00 AM: I wake up, with the feeling in my gut that I didnt complete something. I hadnt done any of my homework for half my classes over the weekend because of the crazy life I have. have a minor freak out.
6:02 AM: I realize that it is raining. I do not have rain boots, let alone shoes that will somehow keep my feet dry. I make do with black dress shoes. They are somewhat waterproof.
6:39 AM: Get ready to leave for the bus. Am looking all over for my raincoat, only to realize that it is lying on my bed, waiting for me. Then Im looking for my notebook that has all of my sketches and stories in it. (It was in my backpack)
6:45 AM: Race out the door, instantly soaked by the rain! Make it to the bus stop on time, and am waiting there for over 15 minutes, waiting for the yellow monstrosity.
7:05 AM: get onto the crowded bus, end up with less than 5 inches to sit on.
7:09 AM: Some idiot opens a window on the bus, allowing the rain and cold air to blast onto the bus.
7:15 AM: Arrive at school, make my way to the crowded library.
7:17 AM: Endure ridicule from my friends for my mismatched earrings and soaked clothes. I just smiled and vowed my revenge.
7:30: Bell rings for 1st period. I again make my way out of the library, and start to head down waterfall stairs. MY SCHOOL WAS NOT DESIGNED FOR RAIN!!! I walk into the locker room feeling like a drowned rat.
7:34: Arrive in the dance room, and listen to my dance teacher prattle on and on and on about what a lame class we are, and how since we are the most advanced course, if we dont step up the pace, concert is going to suck.
8:30 Go to 2nd period: English. Listen to the teacher talk about the Scarlet Letter, listen to a few reports, boring stuff like that. I did enjoy the chapters we read though.
9:30: Break! I hurry out of class, only to discover that all my friends have ditched me. I glower, and then hurry to my 3rd period.
9:35: 3rd period. Listen to the class gripe about everything and anything known to man. I finish my work in record time, then work on bios for my characters. Teacher gets mad at me for not focusing.
10:45: 4th period. Officially the worst period of the day. Pre-Calc. I didnt understand the homework, my socks are soaked, and the teacher is droning on and on. Logarithms are a nightmare.
12:00 Noon. Lunch. I get to run from class to class, wrapping things up for FFA, then off to buy lunch. The lines are packed with people who are cutting others and being real jerks.
12:25: I finally get time to chill with my friends in one of the open classrooms. I slowly eat the tasteless food, and am yet again taunted. (perhaps because I react so well?)
12:30 : 5th period. The best period of the day. The time when I can get lost in history, and yet come out having learned more than I ever thought possible.
1:30: 6th period: I freak out because we have to complete 2 labs in an hour. Not a big deal, but then my friend tries to tell me that she needs my homework to copy. Its the end of the day, Im wet, Im tired and I just want to go home. I deny her that, claiming that she doesnt need it until tomorrow, and that she can do it at home. She calls me a bad friend. It took everything in my willpower not to blow up on her. I just returned to my class work and ignored her.
2:40: School dismissed. I get to walk out in the rain (again), and then get onto the crowded bus. This time, I have literally and inch to sit on. I am braced between two seats, with my umbrella leaned across my legs in a plastic bag. Then the worst possible thing happens: THE BAG LEAKS ON ME! It leaves a freezing cold wet trail down the outside of my leg.
3:01: I get off the bus, and have issues opening my umbrella. After I get it open, I call my mom. Turns out, I have to wait for her to pick my brother up at school, and then drive and get me. So I start to walk home along the busiest road in town. I am splashed so many times, that it is not funny, and by the time my mother picks me up halfway up the street, I am drenched. Like I was thrown into a pool and forced to swim 10 miles drenched.
3:10: I start to talk to friends, instead of working on my homework. I complete nothing in the 2 hours.
5:00 Dance. Usually good. Except I was totally out of it. (it was still raining) I tripped, fell and stumbled as only I can. Im not called Grace for nothing. I landed on the edge of my kneecap, and then kicked the wall with my toe. I then go on Pointe. TALK ABOUT PAIN!
8:00 PM: I get home, eat supper, shower and attempt to do some homework. I fail.
9:00 I end up dozing off a few, so I just crawl into bed. I was out in less than 10 seconds.
Total homework completed: edit of an essay. Thats it. Needless to say, I failed the test in math today, I was a real grouch, and I actually told a friend to quit complaining about her grades to me. I hope shes still going to be my friend.
Thats really sad. I wrote over 2 pages in Word, of my horrendous day. Im sorry! If you managed to read this in its entirety, you deserve a hug. Today wasnt much better, but I wont go into details. Ive bored you enough already.
